KITCHEN & VANITY CABINETS

Cabinet painting in Las Vegas.

If you like the layout and the cabinets are in suitable condition, a new painted finish may be worth considering.

Sage painted kitchen cabinets with metal handles and cream counters

Show us the cabinets you’d like to change, including the worn edges and areas around handles. We’ll discuss their material, the existing finish and the preparation needed for adhesion. Grease, damaged panels and peeling coatings all need attention before paint.

WHAT TO INCLUDE

Which cabinet surfaces would you like painted?

01

Doors and drawer fronts

Count them and show the profile. Worn edges, peeling finishes and damaged panels need to be assessed before painting.

02

Boxes and exposed ends

Identify face frames, end panels and visible undersides. Cabinet interiors are separate and should be listed if you want them considered.

03

Preparation and handling

Discuss cleaning, adhesion preparation, primer and a compatible finish. Handling and cure time follow the selected coating’s instructions.

YOUR LAS VEGAS HOME

Planning around your home.

Try your cabinet color beside the counter, backsplash and flooring you’re keeping. Las Vegas daylight and evening lighting can bring out different tones, so check the sample under both.

PLANNING THE WORK

The finish depends on what’s underneath.

Show us worn edges and areas around handles. The cabinet material and existing coating help us decide whether repainting is suitable and what preparation is needed.

QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU START

Questions about cabinet painting

Is cabinet painting the same as refinishing?

People use those terms in different ways. This service is for a solid painted color. If you want the cabinets stripped and restained, please say so. That’s a different type of work.

Can every cabinet material be painted?

Not every cabinet is suitable. We’ll need to check the material, the existing finish and its condition before agreeing to paint it.

Will I be able to use the kitchen immediately?

We’ll discuss when the kitchen can be used and how the work will be arranged. Drying and cure times depend on the process and coating, so immediate use can’t be promised.

BEFORE THE ESTIMATE

Tell us what you want to change.

Send an overall kitchen view and close-ups of doors and worn areas. Count doors and drawers, identify the material if known and say whether handles will stay, change or need new holes.
